Ko`ie`ie Fishpond Community Work Day on February 14th

Are you looking for a way to give back to Maui and enjoy a Hawaiian cultural experience at the same time? `Ao`ao O Na Loko I`a O Maui (Association of the Fishponds of Maui) is happy to announce that we will host another community work day to help restore K�ie�ie Fishpond in Kīhei on Saturday, February 14th from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m.. We are recruiting volunteers to take part in this monumental event in which volunteers will help dig up rocks and boulders that are submerged and buried in the ocean and will replace them on the fishpond�s wall. �Ao�ao O N� Loko I�a O Maui�s staff and volunteers will be on-site to give background information about K�ie�ie Fishpond and the restoration project, will review safety procedures and will work side-by-side with the day�s participants. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate
